SANTA CLARA, California, USA and HSINCHU, Taiwan – July 22, 2007 – Incentia Design Systems, Inc., a technology leader in timing analysis and design closure solutions, today announced that Global Unichip Corp. (GUC; TW:3443), a leading SoC design foundry, adopted Incentia’s TimeCraft™ as its static timing analyzer (STA) in its recent 50-million-gate tape-out success.  TimeCraft’s unmatched runtime advantage has greatly shortened GUC’s timing analysis turnaround time during design iteration stage and final tape-out.

“We have adopted Incentia’s TimeCraft as our static timing analyzer in our nanometer design flow for its runtime advantage and proven quality,” said CC Hsieh, Vice President of GUC. “TimeCraft played a key role in our recent complex 50-million-gate tape-out success.  Its very fast runtime reduced our total turnaround time in design iterations and final signoff by 3X.  We are pleased that TimeCraft improved our productivity gain significantly and helped keep our tight tape-out schedule.”

“We are pleased that TimeCraft was used in GUC’s recent 50-million-gate tape-out and drastically shortened their timing analysis turnaround time,” said Ihao Chen, president and CEO of Incentia. “TimeCraft’s success at GUC reinforces our commitment to customers with the best-of-the-class nanometer timing analysis technology to achieve the largest productivity gain.”
